Blue-collar is not a portal problem
The Indian staffing market is full of portals. Plants are full of empty seats. Those two facts are related.
A fitter who can read a drawing is not hiding on a job board waiting for your employer brand film. They are in a catchment, a WhatsApp group, an ITI, or last season’s batch. Sourcing is field work.
Trade tests beat résumés. A supervisor who will say no beats an ATS that will say maybe. We would rather send eight people and keep six than send forty and keep the dashboard green.
